Chippenham Link has received royal recognition for its work in the form of a letter from Queen Camilla.
Bryant Vincent – a co-founder of Chippenham Link, a former volunteer driver and current service user – recently wrote to Buckingham Palace highlighting the value of the service and his appreciation of it now he is a client.
In February, he received a reply on behalf of Queen Camilla thanking him for bringing the charity’s work to the attention of Her Majesty. She also expressed her pleasure at the appreciation of “this useful service which greatly assists people by driving them to and from medical appointments”.
Mr Vincent passed the letter on to Chippenham Link Chair Carolyn Carter, who shared its contents at the organisation’s recent AGM.
